We are thrilled to offer this stunning decaffeinated coffee from our long-time partnership with the Aguacate producer group in Sandoná, Nariño. Our first ever coffee roasted here at Ruby was a lot from Aguacate and we have continued purchasing from them for six years and counting because of their commitment to excellent quality, strong community, and sound land use. This coffee has been decaffeinated using the naturally occurring ethyl acetate chemical, which is a byproduct of fermenting sugar cane and is commonly found in other fruits.
