We are very excited to share this espresso-specific offering from our newest project in Costa Rica.
We visited Cerro La Cruz in February 2017 and were floored by their attention to detail and amazing coffees. We selected this yellow honey processed lot from the farm 'El Bajo' for its supreme balance and velvety mouthfeel in the cup.
This coffee performs beautifully on espresso, balancing origin character and sweetness harmoniously. We recommend starting with a ratio of 20 grams coffee to 40 grams finished espresso by liquid weight and a brew duration of 30 seconds. Adjust to find the sweet spot!
