This is our second year working with the Vides and Molina families in La Liberated, Huehuetenango. We selected this micro lot during our 2017 sourcing trip to Guatemala.
This one of those full-package coffees that you can drink all day, versatile enough to brew on espresso, french press or pour over.
Renardo's grandfather, Dr. Jorge Vides, founded Finca La Bolsa in 1958 with a vision to grow quality coffee in the mountains of Huehuetenango. Now, two generations later, they have grown to three farms and have been able to create a business working more closely with roasters. We are excited about all of this, particularly their commitment to sustainability (agricultural, social, environmental) in addition to their laser sharp focus on quality.
