Our Kenya tasting series was extremely well-received in January, with one clear follow up message from customers: many discovered favorites that they would like to purchase in larger quantities.
One of those otherwise unavailable coffees is our Kenya Riamute, an estate lot of which we were only able to purchase a tiny amount this year. Mr. Matthew Mugo's farm in Kiambu is a mix of SL 28 and 34 and is a very wild, fruity coffee with a juicy texture. This is the last time you'll be able to purchase this particular coffee on our web store this season.
The other two available in limited quantities are from the Gachatha cooperative, located in the Nyeri district of the Central province. Both the AB and AA lots are complete, balanced, juicy coffees, with flavors ranging from Bing cherry to apricot and mango. We find the AB lot more winey and spicy, while the AA lot has an elegant, tea-like finish. Both are exceptional and will be available a few more times this year as limited releases.
Roast/ship for any of these three is Thursday Feb 4th.
Size per unit is 12 oz / 340 g.
