As part of the Valle Inca co-op, the Mendosayoc village is producing delicious coffees. The co-op was officially organized by Prudencio Vargas Saez last year, and because of the official organization effort, has been able to become Organic certified and start the process for Fair Trade certification. This lot represents years of relationship building between Valle Inca and our import partner Red Fox, who have recently set up a quality control lab in Lima. Both organizations have grown together, and we’re excited to see these rare and rural coffees make their way to our lineup.
