Fresh from each of their respective countries, Guatemala Flor de Cafe and Ethiopia Suke Quto both arrived just in the nick of time for this month’s subscription. In Flor de Cafe, you’ll find a delightfully smooth body, and sweet, deep, sugary notes like dark chocolate, molasses, and toffee. This coffee brews up a classic cup, and is easy-drinking without being mundane.
On the other end of the spectrum, Suke Quto brews up a dazzling and complex cup with notes like mandarin orange, honey, persimmon, and intriguing florals. The acidity of this coffee manages to have both sparkling and syrupy qualities. When enjoying this at home, we recommend you take a moment to appreciate the distinct, fruity smell of the grounds before brewing.
